NFBL Meetings and Tasting Schedule
The NFBL meets at 7:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month at
Beef
O'Bradys on Thomasville Road, in Tallahassee,
FL. This
local
sports bar provides the NFBL with some space to call our own for the evening,
where we
have
ourselves a good time. We conduct a little bit of club business, talk about upcoming
events in the homebrewing community, discuss brewing ideas and techniques, and
hold our monthly tasting.
At each of the monthly meetings of the NFBL, we like to feature a particular
style of beer. We discuss
that beer style, including how to brew it, how to evaluate
it during a
formal tasting, and how to identify the subtleties of the beer style that only
it possesses. If someone has that style of beer on hand, we encourage the brewer
to bring it along for
sharing and tasting, so that club members are able to share in the joy of homebrewing
and
so that brewers can receive informal feedback from other members.
